Ningiukulu Teevee’s graphic drawings explore the relationship between abstraction and representation, particularly the interplay of patterns found in nature. Her work takes inspiration from traditional stories as well as the changes she sees around her in contemporary Cape Dorset (Kinngait). The winning bidder will learn more about this artist who is represented in the WAG collection on a private tour of the Gallery’s Inuit art vaults with WAG Director & CEO Dr. Stephen Borys or WAG Curator of Inuit Art, Dr. Darlene Coward Wight.
